Today, U.S. Rep. Anna G. Eshoo (CA-16), Rep. Michael McCaul (TX-10), Rep. Don Beyer (VA-08), and Rep. Jay Obernolte (CA-23), Co-Chairs and Vice-Chairs of the Congressional Artificial Intelligence Caucus, introduced the Creating Resources for Every American To Experiment with Artificial Intelligence Act of 2023 (CREATE AI Act).

Today, H.R. 1435, the Preserving Choice for Vehicle Purchases Act, was passed by the Energy and Commerce Committee and will next be considered by the entire U.S. House of Representatives.

U.S. Congressman Jay Obernolte (R-CA) has partnered with House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Chairman Mike Bost (R-IL) in cosponsoring H.R. 4278, the Restore Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Accountability Act, which was introduced on Friday. The bill comes in direct response to an ongoing joint investigation conducted by Rep. Obernolte and Chairman Bost into a flood of credible whistleblower reports alleging a hostile work environment at VA Loma Linda.

U.S. Congressman Jay Obernolte (R-CA) recognized Yucaipa resident Nicole Seheult with a certificate presentation in the U.S. Capitol Building in recognition of her achievement of the Congressional Award Gold Medal. Nicole traveled to Washington, D.C. this week for the Gold Medal Ceremony, where she was presented with her award at a ceremony in the Capitol Building.
