Rep. Obernolte announces 2023 Congressional Art Competition

U.S. Congressman Jay Obernolte (CA-23) is inviting high school students from California’s 23rd District to participate in the 2023 Congressional Art Competition. Each spring, members of the U.S. House of Representatives host a nationwide high school art contest, offering a wonderful opportunity to showcase the talent and creativity of our district's young artists.
“I am pleased to continue the distinguished tradition of the Congressional Art Competition. Through this contest, students will have the opportunity to demonstrate the amazing creativity and artistic talent that our district has to offer, while also showcasing the unique culture of our High Desert and Inland Empire,” said Rep. Obernolte. “I am looking forward to seeing our students’ submissions!”
The winner of the Congressional Art Competition for California’s 23rd Districtwill be determined by an independent panel of judges and will have their artwork displayed as a representation of the district in the national exhibition at the United States Capitol. Second and third place submissions will be displayed in Congressman Obernolte’s Washington, DC. and District offices, respectively.
Students should submit their original artwork and a completed 2023 Student Information and Release form to Congressman Obernolte’s district office at 9700 Seventh Ave, Suite 201, Hesperia, CA 92345 no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1.
