Representative Jay Obernolte (R - Big Bear Lake) was sworn in today as congressman for California’s 8th Congressional District representing the northern half of San Bernardino County as well as Mono and Inyo counties. Rep. “There is no greater honor than serving our community, and I am dedicated to ensuring California’s 8th District has a strong voice fighting for their interests in Congress” said Rep. Obernolte. “Our country needs common-sense policies that will help our economy grow, create new jobs, and keep our communities safe.”

Rep. Obernolte previously represented California’s 33rd State Assembly District and is a business owner dedicated to standing up for taxpayers, cutting regulations that hinder small businesses, improving quality of life for veterans, and defending our freedoms and our communities.
